Step 1 | Rear Casing
Force applied to incorrect areas may damage the casing.
- Pry up the rear casing using the clip near the headphone jack, as shown in picture 2.
- Use a spudger, but not a jimmy tool, for this step.
- Avoid forcing the back off on any other side to prevent damage.
Step 2 | Battery
Always turn off the phone before proceeding.
- Remove the battery through the small opening near the flash.
- A plastic spudger may be used for this purpose.
- Note: Do not use a jimmy tool as it is not recommended.
- The battery can be punctured, exercise caution when handling.
