Samsung Galaxy S25 Earpiece Speaker Replacement

If your Samsung Galaxy S25 has no sound or static during calls, replace the earpiece speaker.

  • You will need replacement back cover adhesive for this repair.
  • Some photos in this guide may differ from your model due to minor visual discrepancies, but they won't impact the process.

Step 1 | Safety precautions

Allow the Galaxy's battery to discharge below 25% before commencing this repair, as a charged lithium-ion battery may catch fire if damaged.

  • Disconnect all cables from the phone.
  • Side key and volume down button: Hold until completely powered off.

Step 2 | Cracked glass preparation

Glass shards can cause injury or complicate disassembly.

  • Apply non-overlapping strips of packing tape to the cracked glass, covering it entirely.
  • Avoid sticking tape to the frame.
  • Ensure a single strip of tape is on the bottom edge, big enough for a suction cup.

Wear safety glasses during the repair to protect your eyes from flying glass particles.

Step 3 | Heat the back cover

Step 3 image

Improper use of a heat gun can damage the display and/or battery — follow safe usage guidelines.

  • Apply heat to the back cover using an iOpener or a hair dryer for two minutes.
  • The adhesive will soften, making it easier to separate the back cover from the frame.

Use caution when handling the heated cover to avoid burns.
