Replace earpiece speaker in Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra if experiencing static, crackling, or no sound during calls.
Note: Requires replacement back cover adhesive.
Let the Galaxy's battery drain below 25% before starting, as a charged lithium-ion battery can catch fire if damaged.
Cracked back glass can cause injury or complicate disassembly.
Wear safety glasses to protect your eyes from potential glass fragments during repair.
Improper use of a heat gun may damage the display and/or battery.
Softening the adhesive will facilitate separation.
Follow linked heat gun instructions carefully to avoid damage.
Avoid damaging the camera lenses by inserting the tool too deeply.
Place a suction handle on the center of the back cover's bottom edge, ensuring it is as close to the edge as feasible.
Be careful, as your phone may be hot.
Apply heat if the back cover is stuck.
Insert an opening pick at the bottom right corner.
Insert the pick about 2mm into the gap at camera's location.
Slide the opening pick along the top left corner, then down the left edge of the device.
Use a suction handle to lift off the back cover.
If the cover still feels stuck, go back around the perimeter with an opening pick and separate any remaining adhesive.
Make sure to power down your phone completely before continuing work.
Use the point of a spudger to gently pry up and release the wireless charging coil press connector.
Keep track of each screw during this repair.
To avoid damaging your phone, ensure each screw returns to its original location exactly as it was found.
Apply heat from an iOpener to the two tabs securing the wireless charging coil for 1 minute.
Avoid puncturing or denting the battery, which can lead to chemical leaks or fire.
Gently slide the point of a spudger under the top edge of the upper tab, lift slowly, and repeat as necessary to fully separate.
Separate the lower tab from the enclosure, beginning at the bottom edge.
Use the spudger tip to gently pry up the right side of the loudspeaker, releasing it from its clip.
Hold the wireless charging and loudspeaker assembly firmly with both hands.
Pry-ing at an incorrect location may damage the board's surface-mounted components.
Locate the earpiece speaker press connector, situated at the top right of the motherboard.
Remove the earpiece speaker's screws using a Phillips screwdriver.
Use a spudger to lift the earpiece speaker by its top left corner until it unclips.
Avoid scratching the cameras with your tool.
Careful not to smudge the cameras or apply pressure on surface-mounted components.
