Allow the phone's battery to discharge to less than 25% to prevent a potential explosion.
Heat the back cover with caution, as excessive heat can cause battery damage.
Apply a suction handle to the back cover as close to the right edge center as possible.
Insert an opening pick at the top right edge, gently prying the adhesive away from the phone's frame.
Reheat the iOpener and apply it to the bottom of the back cover for 2 minutes.
Insert an opening pick into the bottom right corner and rotate it to loosen the adhesive.
Insert a second opening pick to the left of the first one.
Slide it along the bottom edge to slice through the adhesive.
Leave your opening pick in the bottom left edge to prevent resealing of the adhesive.
Reheat the iOpener and apply it to the left side of the back cover for two minutes.
Insert an opening pick into the bottom left corner and rotate it to pry apart the adhesive.
Insert a third opening pick above the last one and slide it along the left edge.
Leave your opening pick in place to prevent resealing of the adhesive.
Reheat the iOpener and apply it to the top of the back cover for two minutes.
Insert the opening pick into the top left corner and rotate it to loosen the adhesive.
Place another opening pick in the top left corner, ensuring it's seated at the same depth as the others.
Insert a 5th opening pick above the camera flash cutout.
The opening pick should separate the adhesive from the back cover before reaching maximum depth.
Remove the back cover by its edges.
Power on your phone and test functions before reassembly.
Ensure phone is powered down before continuing work.
