Insert a SIM eject tool, bithttps://www.wikihow.com/Make-a-SIM-Eject-Tool-from-a-Paperclip, or straightened paper clip into the SIM card tray hole on the bottom edge of the phone.

Pressing the SIM eject tool into a microphone hole can damage it; however, most likely it won't cause any issues and you'll be able to continue with repairs.

  • Eject the SIM card tray by pressing the SIM eject tool further into the tray hole.
  • Once ejected, remove the SIM card tray completely.
