Thumbnail 3

Locate the remaining patch of adhesive under the flash.

  • Position the tip of an opening pick within the flash cutout, aligning it with the cutout's edge.
  • Slide the opening pick under the top of the back cover; it should catch on the adhesive.

Be cautious not to touch the rear cameras with your pick, as pushing against the lenses may damage them.

  • Continue sliding the pick toward the bottom until you feel the adhesive fully release from the back cover.

Step 15 | Remove the back cover

Step 15 image

Thumbnail 2
Thumbnail 3

Do not touch any internal components — risk of damage.

  • Remove the back cover.
  • If still stuck, slide an opening pick around the perimeter to separate completely.

Power off your phone and unplug it before proceeding.

  • Test all functions by powering on your phone during reassembly.
  • Remove any adhesive chunks with tweezers or fingers.
  • If needed, apply heat and isopropyl alcohol (90% or greater) to aid removal.

Refer to separate guides for custom-cut adhesives or double-sided tape.
