Insert the third opening pick at the bottom left corner.
Apply heat from an iOpener to the top edge of the back cover for 2 minutes.
Insert a fourth opening pick in the top left corner.
Insert the opening pick into the top right corner of the device.
Do not remove the opening pick until repairs are complete, or the adhesive will reseal and cause damage.
Leave the opening pick in place to maintain access to the interior components.

Remove the back cover.

Remove the five Phillips screws holding the earpiece speaker in place, using a Phillips screwdriver. Each screw is approximately 3.5 mm long.
Insert the flat end of your spudger between the earpiece speaker's bottom edge and the silver shield on the motherboard.
Be cautious not to insert the spudger elsewhere, as this may dislodge fragile components.
During reassembly: first insert the top end of the earpiece speaker into the frame, then press down and clip it back in place.
Use the pointed end of a spudger to gently pry and release the front camera press connector.
The adhesive on the front camera is extremely strong; if reusing the camera, work slowly and apply additional heat if it appears stuck.
Insert the flat end of your spudger into the camera's recess and gently pry it loose.
If the camera remains stuck, use the pointed end of your spudger to carefully scrape away the epoxy holding it in place.
Use a spudger to gently lift the front camera out of its recess.
