Galaxy S23 Ultra Screen Replacement

This process will destroy your old screen and may compromise water resistance.

  • This guide shows how to replace a Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra screen by itself. Use this guide for standalone screens only.
  • If you have a pre-assembled replacement part, follow a different guide.

Delaminating the front glass from the display panel is required for this process.

Step 1 | Safety precautions

Step 1 image

The battery must be depleted to at least 25%, as a fully charged lithium-ion battery poses a risk of explosion or fire in the event of damage.

  • Disconnect all external cables.
  • Press and hold the power button until the device powers down completely.

Step 2 | Heat the right edge

Step 2 image

Be cautious when applying heat to avoid damaging the display and internal battery.

  • Apply an iOpener to the right edge of the back cover for two minutes.
  • Alternatively, use a hair dryer, heat gun, or hot plate, but keep an eye on temperature to prevent overheating.

Step 3 | Adhesive information

Step 3 image
