Step 1 | Remove the SIM card tray
Inserting the SIM eject tool into a microphone hole is unlikely to cause permanent damage.
- Insert a SIM eject tool, bit, or straightened paper clip into the SIM card tray hole on the bottom edge of the phone.
- Press firmly to eject the tray.
- Remove the SIM card tray.
