Unplug all cables from your phone before proceeding.
Press and hold the side key and volume down button simultaneously.
Heat an iOpener or alternative heat source (hair dryer, heat gun, hot plate) and apply it to the right edge of the back cover for 2 minutes to soften adhesive.
Avoid overheating the phone as the display and internal battery are susceptible to damage.
Apply a suction handle near the center of the right edge.
Slide the pick back and forth along the right edge of the device to separate the adhesive.
Apply a iOpener to the bottom edge of the back cover for 2 minutes.
Position the opening pick at the bottom left corner and slide it under the adhesive.
Leave the pick in place to prevent reattachment of the adhesive.
Apply a iOpener to the left edge of the back cover and heat it for 2 minutes.
Insert an opening pick at the bottom left corner and rotate it to loosen the adhesive.
Insert the third opening pick at the bottom left corner.
Apply heat to the top edge of the iOpener for 2 minutes.
Insert the opening pick at the top right corner and gently pry the screen.
Do not remove the pick until the repair is complete, as the adhesive may reattach otherwise.
Be cautious not to damage the rear cameras.
Avoid touching the rear camera lenses with your pick to prevent damage.
Grab and remove the back cover.
Power on your phone and test all functions before reassembling. Ensure the phone is powered down completely before continuing.

Do not press down on the middle of a press connector.
If misaligned, pins can bend causing permanent damage.
Insert the point of a spudger into the NFC antenna press connector.
Carefully pry upwards to release the connector.
Remove thirteen 3.5 mm Phillips screws using a Phillips screwdriver.
Insert the spudger into the notch at the top left corner of the loudspeaker.
Use gentle force to avoid damaging the loudspeaker or surrounding components.
Use your fingers to lift the loudspeaker away from the frame.
Use the point of your spudger to carefully pry up and release the battery press connector.
Use the spudger tip to carefully pry up and release the earpiece speaker press connector.
Remove the earpiece speaker by using a Phillips screwdriver to loosen the five small (3.5 mm) screws.
Insert the flat end of your spudger between the bottom edge of the earpiece speaker and the sliver shield on the motherboard.
Do not insert your spudger anywhere else to avoid dislodging fragile surface-mounted components.
During reassembly, insert the top end of the earpiece speaker into the frame first before pressing down and clipping it back in.
Use your spudger to carefully release the primary and secondary interconnect cable press connectors from the daughterboard.
Disconnect the interconnect cables.
Be careful not to damage nearby surface-mounted components.
Use a spudger to gently pry up and release the display and 5G mmWave cable press connectors attached to the motherboard.
Use a plastic spudger to gently pry up and release the front camera press connector.
Remove the motherboard screws using a Phillips screwdriver.
Insert the flat end of a spudger between the top edge of the motherboard and the frame near the earpiece speaker cutout.
When reassembling, ensure all cables are clear before placing the motherboard back into the frame.
Remove the three rear cameras from top to bottom.
Lift the ultrawide camera off its metal pegs on the motherboard.
Insert the spudger into the main camera press connector.
Locate the telephoto camera press connector and use a spudger to pry it up and disconnect.
Reassemble in reverse order: Telephoto, Main, then Ultrawide camera for proper alignment.
The motherboard is now visible.
