Heat an iOpener for two minutes and apply it to the bottom edge of the back cover.

Insert the opening pick into the bottom left corner and slide it towards the center.
Make sure the pick remains lodged in this position to keep the adhesive open.
Apply heat to the iOpener and place it on the left edge of the back cover for two minutes.
Hold the pick at the bottom left corner and rotate it slowly to break the adhesive.
Insert a third opening pick at the bottom left corner.
Apply heat from an iOpener to the top edge of the back cover for 2 minutes.
Place a pick at the top right corner and gently slide it along the edge to break the adhesive bond.
Make sure to leave the pick in place until you are finished to avoid re-sealing.
There is a patch of remaining adhesive under the flash.
Avoid touching the rear cameras with your pick as pushing against the lenses can cause damage.
Remove the back cover.
If the cover is stuck to the frame, use an opening pick to carefully pry it loose.
Remove any remaining adhesive with tweezers or fingers. If necessary, apply heat and 90%+ isopropyl alcohol for assistance.
Use your spudger to pry up and disconnect the wireless charging coil press connector from the motherboard.
Misaligned connectors can cause bent pins and permanent damage.
Insert the point of a spudger under the NFC antenna press connector and gently pry it open.
Remove the wireless charging coil using a Phillips screwdriver.
Insert the spudger into the notch at the top left corner of the loudspeaker.
Use your fingers to lift the loudspeaker away from the frame.
Insert the spudger tip under the battery press connector and gently pry it loose.
Use the tip of a spudger to pry up and disconnect the earpiece speaker press connector.
Remove the earpiece speaker using a Phillips screwdriver and unscrew its five 3.5 mm long screws.
Insert the flat spudger between the earpiece speaker edge and motherboard shield.
Avoid inserting the spudger elsewhere to prevent damaging nearby components.
During reassembly, insert the earpiece speaker's top end into the frame first, then press it down and clip it back in place.
