Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra Earpiece Speaker & Vibration Motor Replacement

Replace or repair the earpiece speaker and vibration motor in a Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra using these steps:

Step 1 image

Let your phone's battery drain below 25% to avoid risk of a lithium-ion fire in case of damage.

  • Apply an iOpener to the right edge of the back cover for two minutes to loosen adhesives.
  • Alternatively, use a hair dryer, heat gun, or hot plate with caution: overheat can harm display and internal battery.

Apply a suction handle to the back cover near the right edge.

Use strong, steady force when pulling up on the suction handle to create a gap between the cover and frame.

  • If a gap doesn't form, apply more heat and follow the iOpener instructions to avoid overheating.
  • Insert an opening pick into the created gap.

Step 4 | Slice the right adhesive
