This repair guide is specifically for the battery of a Samsung Galaxy S22+.
Let your phone's battery drain below 25% before starting.
Secure a suction handle to the bottom edge of the back cover.
If the back cover is cracked, the suction handle may not stick — use strong tape or superglue as needed.
Follow iOpener instructions to avoid overheating.
Remove the suction handle.
If the adhesive becomes hard to cut, it may have cooled down.
Use your iOpener for two to three minutes to reheat the adhesive before resuming.
Leave the opening pick inserted near the bottom left corner of the device to prevent the adhesive from resealing.
Overheating the iOpener can cause it to burst.
Inserting the opening pick more than 5mm may damage cables near the camera.
Do not overheat the iOpener — risk of bursting.
Continue moving the opening pick along the right edge of the back cover, slicing through the adhesive.
Overheating may cause the iOpener to burst, posing a hazard.
The iOpener should stay warm for up to 10 minutes after heating.
Avoid inserting the pick over 5 mm, as it may damage the rear cameras and flash.
Remove the back cover.
Power on your phone and test all functions before reassembly to ensure proper operation.
Remove any remaining adhesive chunks with a pair of tweezers or your fingers. If necessary, apply heat to assist separation.
If using custom-cut adhesives, consult the relevant guide for proper application.
If using double-sided tape, refer to its specific installation instructions.

Disconnect the screen cable.
Remove excess battery adhesive with a pipette or syringe filled with 1-2 drops of high-concentration isopropyl alcohol (over 90%) applied between the right edge of the battery and frame.
Excessive use of isopropyl alcohol may harm the display.
Never puncture the battery — risk of chemical leak or fire.
Bending or creasing the battery can cause leaks or fires.
Wait 10 minutes if isopropyl alcohol was used to clean the area to prevent electrical short circuits during installation.
