Samsung Galaxy S21 SIM Card Replacement

This repair guide is for removing or replacing the SIM card on a Samsung Galaxy S21 device.

Step 1 | Remove the SIM card tray

Insert a SIM eject tool, bit, or straightened paper clip into the SIM card tray hole on the bottom edge of the phone.

  • Press the SIM eject tool into the SIM card tray hole to eject the SIM card tray.
  • Remove the SIM card tray.

If you inserted the SIM eject tool into a microphone hole, do not worry — damage is unlikely, but be sure to inspect the microphone for any signs of damage.
