Samsung Galaxy S21 Front Camera Replacement

Discharge battery to 25% or less to avoid thermal risk. If swollen, take extra precautions before starting.

  • Use this guide to remove or replace the front camera in your Samsung Galaxy S21.

Step 1 | Heat the bottom edge

Step 1 image

Power off your phone completely before starting repairs.

  • Apply an iOpener to the bottom edge of the back cover for two minutes to loosen adhesives.
  • A hair dryer, heat gun, or hot plate can also be used. However, be cautious not to overheat the phone as components like the display and internal battery may be damaged by excessive heat.

Step 2 | Separate the bottom adhesive
