Samsung Galaxy S20 Plus SIM/MicroSD Card Tray Replacement

  • Eject the hybrid SIM card tray.
  • The tray can be used to:
    • Add a nano SIM card
    • Add a MicroSD memory card
    • (On certain models) Add a second nano SIM card

Step 1 | Eject the SIM tray

Insert a SIM card eject tool, bit, or straightened paperclip into the top edge hole next to the plastic antenna band.

  • Ensure you're inserting it into the correct hole (the other hole is for the microphone and ingress gasket).
  • Press in firmly to eject the SIM tray.

Step 2 | Remove the SIM tray

Remove the SIM card tray.

  • The SIM card will fall out of the tray easily.
  • When reinserting, ensure correct orientation relative to the tray.
  • A rubber gasket around the SIM tray provides water and dust protection.

    • If damaged or missing, replace the gasket or entire SIM tray to prevent internal damage.
