If your battery is swollen, take precautions before proceeding. Discharge your phone's battery to 25% or lower prior to opening.
Puncturing the battery can cause it to catch fire and/or explode. Please refer to the video below for additional guidance, as photos may not be enough.
Remove the SIM Tray before accessing internal components.
Use a heat gun to warm up the back cover carefully.
Be cautious when using an opening pick on the right side, as it may damage the WLAN antenna cable.

Insert a thin pry tool in the side of the lower plastic cover to release it.
Underneath, use a spudger to carefully pry both the battery connector and the antenna module connector off.
Remove the rear camera using a spudger.
Disconnect the display, fingerprint sensor, and Main-Sub board connectors using a spudger.
Be cautious when prying loose the sub-board with a spudger, as cables may be damaged.
Alternatively, disconnect the cables from the sub-board and mainboard first for a safer removal process.
Apply a heat gun to the front side of the display.
Remove the two screws holding the part in place.
Use a heat gun to heat the front display side.
When handling batteries: extreme caution is advised. Punctured batteries are a fire hazard - do not use. Dispose of them at your nearest battery recycling centre.
