Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G Loudspeaker Replacement

Replacing a broken loudspeaker in your Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G may be required if it no longer produces sound or has poor quality.

  • The following guide is for the loudspeaker replacement only, not the wireless charging assembly. If your new loudspeaker comes with that assembly attached, follow this guide.
  • Make sure to obtain replacement back cover adhesive for reassembly purposes.

  • Unplug all cables and connections.

Step 2 | Heat the bottom edge

Step 2 image

Use caution when applying heat, as excessive warping may occur.

  • Heat an iOpener and apply it to the bottom edge of the back cover for two minutes.

Apply a suction cup to the center of the back cover's bottom edge, as close to the edge as possible.

  • Pull up on the suction handle with strong, steady force to create a gap between the cover and frame.
  • This may require significant force; if you're having trouble, reapply more heat and try again.
  • Insert an opening pick into the created gap.
