Opening your phone will compromise its waterproof seals.
Heat the back of the phone along the right edge with an iOpener for 2 minutes.
Alternatively, use a hair dryer, heat gun, or hot plate, but be cautious not to overheat, as this can damage the OLED display and internal battery.
Identify the locations to cut the adhesive: compare the first image showing the inside after removal with the outside view highlighting the areas where you will be cutting.
Apply a suction cup near the Bixby button, where the adhesive is thinnest.
The curved glass edge may not hold the seal; avoid placing the suction cup directly on this area.
Avoid using excessive force or metal tools, as they can cause the rear glass to shatter.
Significant force may be required; if needed, reheat the adhesive and retry until successful.
Use the opening tool to cut along the right edge of the phone, releasing the adhesive holding the back cover in place.
Insert an opening pick beside the opening tool, securing it in place.

Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove all eight 3.9 mm Phillips screws holding the upper midframe in place.
Use an opening pick and slide it into the gap at the bottom right corner of the upper midframe. This will help break the adhesive bond with the lower midframe.
Insert the spudger into the small cutout on the right edge of the upper midframe, just below the Bixby button.
Remove the midframe by lifting it at the plastic section.
Heat a iOpener and apply it to the top half of the midframe for one minute.
High concentration isopropyl alcohol may damage certain components — use with caution.
Peel the wireless charging coil slowly away from the midframe.
Thread the wireless charging coil's contact pad out of its midframe cutout.
