This repair involves accessing and removing the loudspeaker, which is embedded in the lower midframe of the Samsung Galaxy S10+.
Unplug and power off your phone before proceeding.
Apply a suction cup to the phone's back near its right edge, just above the narrowest part of the adhesive.
Due to tight tolerances, this process may require multiple attempts.
If no gap forms, reapply heat to the edge and retry. Alternatively, apply a few drops of high-concentration isopropyl alcohol (over 90%) into the seam to loosen the adhesive.
Avoid applying excessive force with the pick, which can crack the back cover glass.
Position the phone at an angle on a stable surface, ensuring the right edge is approximately 0.5 inches (13 mm) above.
Apply heat after removing the corner adhesives to avoid cracking the back cover.
Leave one pick in place to prevent re-adhesion.
Apply a heated iOpener to the bottom edge of the phone for 2 minutes.
Insert an opening pick into the right edge near the bottom right corner.
If the cutting feels difficult, re-apply heat to the edge before continuing.
Leave an opening pick in the seam to prevent the adhesive from re-sealing.
Continue heating the edges until they are completely separated from the rest of the phone.
Twist an opening pick into one edge of the phone to separate the back cover from the frame.
Power on your phone and test all functions before sealing the back cover. Ensure your phone is fully powered down before continuing work.
Remove the nine 4mm Phillips screws holding the top midframe in place.
Locate and insert the spudger into the notch at the right edge of the midframe, near the Bixby button.
Be careful not to apply too much pressure on the Bixby button.
Pry up gently to loosen the midframe clips and remove the midframe from the phone.
Pry up the midframe by inserting the point of a spudger into the notch on the left edge, just above the power button.
Apply even pressure to avoid damaging components.
Remove the seven 4 mm Phillips screws from the lower midframe.
Be careful not to damage any surrounding components.
Grasp the loosened end of the midframe with your fingers and lift upwards slowly.
Wiggle the midframe slightly to help release any remaining edge clips.
Reinstalling the lower midframe: align its bottom edge with the phone's edge and press it firmly into place.
