Samsung Galaxy S Vibrant Battery Replacement
A swollen battery can pose a fire risk — exercise caution when handling.
- Remove the phone's back panel using a plastic spudger to access the old battery.
- Disconnect the battery connector to prevent power drain during replacement.
- Release the battery clips or adhesive securing the old battery in place.
- Remove the old battery and inspect for any signs of damage or wear.
- Install the new battery, ensuring it is securely fastened with the battery clips or adhesive.
- Reconnect the battery connector and replace the phone's back panel.
Step 1 | Battery
Locate the small slit on the bottom edge of the device.
- Pop the back case off by inserting your finger and pulling it away from the phone.
- If necessary, use a Plastic Opening Tool to pry the back case off.
Step 2
Push the bottom edge of the battery upwards and away from the phone.
- You can also use a Plastic Opening Tool if preferred.
