Samsung Galaxy S Plus Front Panel Assembly Replacement

Remove the rear cover by unscrewing seven Phillips-head screws.

Careful not to damage the rear cover while removing it.

  • Use a soft plastic prying tool to unhook the rear.

Ensure to handle the Power Key FPCB with care as it may be fragile.

  • Use a pair of tweezers to detach the Power Key FPCB, which is held in place by dual-sided tape
  • Remove all remaining dual-sided tape from the bracket.

Remove all connections to the Main PBA:

  • Disconnect the LCD Connector.
  • Remove the Receiver Connector.
  • Detach the Sub-touch Key Connector.
  • Cut the Antenna cable from the Main PBA.

Disconnecting the camera connector is not required for this repair.

Avoid damaging the Main PBA or the Power Key FPCB.

  • Pull the Main PBA carefully out of the bracket.
  • Be cautious not to bend or damage the Power Key FPCB.

Risk of electrical shock — be cautious when handling cables.

  • Disconnect the antenna cable from the main Antenna PCB.
  • Pull out the Receiver module from its bracket, taking care not to damage the FPC (Flexible Printed Circuit).
  • Insert the Receiver module into the new Screen Digitizer Frame, and connect the antenna cable to the main Antenna PCB.
