Use a plastic opening tool or your fingernail to insert into the notch between the rear case and the rest of the phone.
Avoid breaking any clips along the perimeter using a tool for best results.
Use a plastic opening tool to widen the gap by sliding it left along the top edge of the phone and repeating the twisting motion.
Move the plastic opening tool around the top left corner, gently prying up the rear case.
Use a pry tool to pry along the top right side of the device.
Lift up the rear case and remove it from the phone.
Be prepared to carefully peel the case away from any remaining clips at the bottom of the phone, if necessary.
Insert a finger or plastic opening tool into the notch above the battery.
Disconnect and remove the battery.
Use your fingernail to gently press the SIM card further into the slot.
When reinstalling, ensure the SIM card clicks firmly in place to avoid damage.
Slide the SIM card partially out with your thumb.
