Samsung Galaxy S Blaze SD Card Slot Cover Replacement

Ensure the device is completely powered down and disconnected from any power sources.

• Remove the back plate.
• The battery will be exposed for access.

Remove the battery using a spudger or your fingertips.

Remove the eight 4mm screws from the device frame using a Phillips #00 screwdriver.

Use the blue plastic opening tool to pry the frame off the phone.

• Gently work around the phone with the blue plastic opening tool.
• Continue applying gentle pressure until the frame is removed, using a bit more force if necessary.

• Locate and identify the small tab holding the SD cover in place.
• Unhook the tab from the device frame.

Make sure to remove the SD card before attempting to unhook the tab.
