Step 1 | Power Button

Remove the back plastic cover by lifting it upwards from the notch on the left side.

Step 2

Remove the battery.

Use a small Phillips-head screwdriver to remove the marked up screws.

Step 3

Apply considerable force when separating the two plastic cases using a flat tool.

Pry the cases apart, starting from one edge.
Continue prying until the latches release.

Step 4

Locate the missing button slot.

Ensure the new button is properly seated before closing the plastic housing.

Close the plastic housing around the replacement button.
The button should now be fully functional.
Repeat past steps to reassemble your phone.
