Use a Phillips head screwdriver with a size of 00.

  • Remove the 4mm screws from the .
  • The screws can be removed in any order, as all eight are the same size and type.

Remove the blue plastic opening tool and use it to separate the from the device.

  • Work around the device with the opening tool until the frame is completely removed.
  • You may need to apply some force when prying the frame off the device.

Remove the blue plastic opening tool from your toolkit.

  • Lift and slide open the first three ribbon cable connectors.
  • Use the blue plastic opening tool to release each connector, working from left to right.

Flip the motherboard over to expose the last ribbon cable connector.

  • Use a blue plastic opening tool to release the final ribbon cable connector.
  • With the connectors cleared, carefully lift the motherboard out of the device.
