Samsung Galaxy S Blaze Display Assembly Replacement

Step 1 | Power Button

Remove the back plastic cover by lifting it up from the notch on the left side.

  • Disconnect the battery.
  • Use a small Phillips-head screwdriver to remove the marked screws.

Careful not to damage the case edges.

  • Separate the two plastic cases using a flat tool.
  • Apply sufficient force as needed, as the latches are strong and secure.

Locate the missing button slot.

  • Insert the replacement button
  • Clos the plastic housing around it.

The phone should now be fully functional.

Clean up and reassemble by reversing previous steps.

Remove the 2 ribbon cables as shown.

  • Connect the new screen to the main motherboard just like before.
  • Be careful not to crimp or bend the ribbon cables, as this will ruin the replacement.
