This guide will walk you through a step-by-step replacement process for the display assembly on your Samsung Galaxy S Blaze.
Step 1 | Power Button
Remove the back plastic cover by lifting it up from the notch on the left side.
Step 2
- Disconnect the battery.
- Use a small Phillips-head screwdriver to remove the marked screws.
Step 3
Careful not to damage the case edges.
- Separate the two plastic cases using a flat tool.
- Apply sufficient force as needed, as the latches are strong and secure.
Step 4
Locate the missing button slot.
- Insert the replacement button
- Clos the plastic housing around it.
The phone should now be fully functional.
Clean up and reassemble by reversing previous steps.
Step 5 | Display Assembly
Remove the 2 ribbon cables as shown.
- Connect the new screen to the main motherboard just like before.
Be careful not to crimp or bend the ribbon cables, as this will ruin the replacement.
