Samsung Galaxy Rush Rear Facing Camera Replacement

Locate the back cover on the rear of your device.

  • Use a fingertip or cloth to gently pry open the back cover.

Disconnect and remove the battery.

Remove the screws using a Phillips-head screwdriver.

  • There are six screws to remove.

Use the pry tool to pry the back panel away from the rest of the phone.

  • Pry from the edge closest to the screen for easier access.

Use tweezers to carefully lift the motherboard connector on the upper left.

  • The other motherboard connector is located near the top of the phone, above the camera.
  • It should come off easily with the tweezers.

Remove the tweezers and gently take out the 2 adhesive orange ribbons.

  • Be cautious not to damage these when removing, as they will stay attached to the motherboard.
  • The ribbons are located on the side of the phone.

Remove the bottom screw, located to the right of the charging port, using a Philips-head screwdriver.

Separate the motherboard from the screen by lifting it upwards.

Hold the motherboard with its circuitry side facing towards you.

  • Gently grasp the back camera with two fingers and pull upwards, allowing for a slight wiggle if needed.
