Samsung Galaxy Rush Display Replacement

This repair will replace the LCD screen or motherboard on your Samsung Galaxy Rush, taking approximately 30 minutes to complete.

Step 1 | Rear Case

Locate the back cover on your phone and pry it off with your finger.

Be gentle when removing the back cover to avoid damage to the phone's casing.

Disconnect and remove the battery.

Remove the six Phillips-head screws using a small Phillips-head screwdriver.

Insert the p ry tool into the gap between the back panel and the phone's body.

  • Pry the back panel upwards, starting from the edge nearest the screen.

Step 5 | Connectors

Use tweezers to carefully lift the connectors from the motherboard.

  • The upper left connector can be found.
  • The second connector, located above the camera, comes off easily.

Use a tweezers to remove the 2 adhesive orange ribbons.

  • These ribbons stay attached to the motherboard.
  • Be careful not to break them, as they are on the side of the phone.

Remove the screw at the bottom of the phone, located to the right of the charging port, using a Philips-head screwdriver.

Step 8

Hold the screen steady with one hand and lift the motherboard away from it.
