Samsung Galaxy Prevail Rear Speaker Replacement

Step 1 | Rear Speaker

Careful not to damage the surrounding components.

  • Use fingers to pop out the open slit located near the headphone jack.

Use a nylon spudger to pry the battery from its resting place in the bottom right corner.

Be gentle to avoid damaging adjacent components.

Use a Phillips #00 screwdriver to remove the six 4mm screws.

Use a black spudger to carefully unhinge the secondary rear panel at the recessed tabs on both sides.

  • The motherboard will become accessible.
  • Beware: The metal trim of the headphone jack may come loose during this process.
