Use the spudger to pry the plastic casing open.

Be careful not to scratch the body of the phone.

Pull the casing away from the body.

Remove the battery from the phone, handling it carefully.

• Remove all screws using an appropriate tool.
• Set the removed screws aside in a secure location.

• Insert the plastic prying tool between the silver frame and white face of the phone.

• Pry around the entire frame to loosen it, taking care not to damage any internal components.

• Use your thumbs to separate the motherboard from the back of the phone.

Use the plastic prying tool to lift the motherboard flap and secure it in an open position.

• Lift the flap using a plastic prying tool.
• This will facilitate detachment of the internal battery.

Use a plastic prying tool to carefully lift the vibration motor.

Use the soldering iron to desolder the vibration motor from the motherboard.

• Identify the vibration motor and its connections on the motherboard.
• Apply heat carefully with the soldering iron tip until the solder melts.
• Remove the solder connecting the motor, taking care not to damage the surrounding components.
