Step 1 | Put a new OCA

The OCA on a new Samsung Galaxy Note 8 touchscreen does not adhere due to an unnecessary protective layer.

  • Instead, align and move the OCA around until proper adhesion is achieved.

Step 2 | Using upper mold

Use a piece of easy tear tape to carefully remove the protective film from the touch screen.

Verify that mold is securely seated in RMB-2 Laminating Machine.

  • Set vacuum time to 30s and lamination time to 10s.
  • Allow total process time of 40s for lamination completion.

Inspect the touch screen for bubbles and ensure OCA is properly aligned with no bias or overlap.
