Apply a suction cup to the heated edge of the rear cover, as close to the edge as possible.

  • If the back glass is badly cracked, apply clear packing tape first for better adhesion.
  • Alternatively, use strong tape instead of the suction cup or superglue it if necessary.

Be careful not to damage internal components by inserting the pick more than 5 mm into the phone.

  • Pull up on the suction cup with strong, steady force to create a gap between the rear cover and frame.
  • If stuck, reapply heat and try again.

Once a gap is created, insert an opening pick into it.
