Samsung Galaxy Note10 Vibration Motor Replacement

This guide will walk you through removing and replacing the vibration motor in your Samsung Galaxy Note 10.

Step 1 | Heat the back panel

Step 1 image

Completely power off your phone before disassembly.

  • Prepare an iOpener and apply it to the left edge of the back panel for one minute.

Be cautious when using a hair dryer, heat gun, or hot plate, as excessive heat can damage the display and internal battery.

Step 2 | Insert an opening pick

Apply a suction cup to the heated edge of the back panel, as close to the edge as possible.

  • If your back glass is badly cracked, cover it with clear packing tape for better adhesion.
  • Alternatively, use strong tape instead of the suction cup or superglue it to the broken panel if necessary.

Be careful not to overheat the phone.

  • Pull up on the suction cup with strong, steady force to create a gap between the back panel and the frame.
  • If this is difficult due to the phone's age, apply more heat and try again.

Insert the point of an opening pick into the gap created.

Step 3 | Begin to slice the adhesive

Slide the opening pick along the left edge towards the bottom left corner to slice the adhesive.

Do not insert more than halfway into the phone — risk of damaging internal components.

Leave the pick inserted in the bottom left corner to prevent re-sealing of the adhesive.

Step 4 | Slice the left side adhesive
