Samsung Galaxy Note10 Screen Replacement

To replace the screen on your Samsung Galaxy Note10, follow these steps:

  • Raise the back panel by using a plastic spudger to pry it away from the phone's frame.
  • Disconnect the screen cable that is held in place by the back panel adhesive.
  • Make sure you have replacement adhesives for both the back panel and screen before proceeding.

Step 1 | Heat the back panel

Step 1 image

Power off your phone completely before disassembling.

  • Apply an iOpener to the left edge of the back panel for one minute.
  • Alternatively, use a hair dryer, heat gun, or hot plate, but be cautious not to overheat and damage the display or internal battery.

Step 2 | Insert an opening pick

Apply a suction cup to the heated edge of the back panel as close to the edge as possible.

If your back glass is badly cracked, covering it with clear packing tape may be necessary for the suction cup to adhere.

  • Pull up on the suction cup with strong, steady force to create a gap between the back panel and frame.
  • Be prepared for potential difficulty due to phone age; apply additional heat if needed before reattempting.

Insert an opening pick into the created gap only after a sufficient gap has been established.

Step 3 | Begin to slice the adhesive

  • Do not insert the pick more than halfway into the phone.
  • Leave the pick inserted in the bottom left corner to prevent re-sealing of the adhesive.
