This repair guide is for replacing the rear cover of a Samsung Galaxy Note10 device.
Completely power off your phone before disassembly.
Use a hair dryer, heat gun, or hot plate with caution: excessive heat may damage display or internal battery.
Apply a suction cup to the heated edge of the back panel, as close to the edge as possible.
If still having trouble, reapply heat and try again carefully, as excessive force may cause further damage.
Risk of damage to internal components if the opening pick is inserted too far.
Insert a second opening pick and slide it along the left side, heading towards the top left corner to slice the adhesive.
Be careful not to remove the original pick as you insert the new one — risk of re-sealing the adhesive.
Heat the iOpener according to the manufacturer's instructions.
Insert a third opening pick into the top edge gap.
Apply heat from an iOpentermally aligned with the right edge of the device for 1 minute.
Insert a fourth opening pick into the gap on the right side of the phone.
Reheat if you encounter stubborn adhesive.
Remove the back panel by lifting it upwards.
