Samsung Galaxy Note10 Rear Camera Module Replacement

  • Rear Camera Module Removal/Replacement Guide
  • This guide is for Samsung Galaxy Note10 devices only.

Step 1 | Heat the back panel

Step 1 image

Completely power off your phone before disassembly.

  • Prepare an iOpener and apply it to the left edge of the back panel for one minute.
  • A hair dryer, heat gun, or hot plate may be used; however, exercise care to avoid overheating as the display and internal battery are susceptible to damage.

Step 2 | Insert an opening pick

Apply a suction cup to the heated edge of the back panel as close to the edge as possible.

  • If your back glass is badly cracked, cover it with clear packing tape for better suction.
  • Alternatively, use strong tape instead of a suction cup.
  • If all else fails, superglue the suction cup to the broken panel (at own risk).

Pull up on the suction cup with strong, steady force to create a gap between the back panel and frame.

  • Depending on phone age, this may be difficult. Apply more heat if having trouble.
  • Insert the point of an opening pick into the created gap.

Step 3 | Begin to slice the adhesive

Slide the opening pick along the left edge towards the bottom left corner to slice the adhesive.

Do not insert the opening pick more than halfway into the phone — risk of damaging internal components.

Leave the pick inserted in the bottom left corner to prevent the adhesive from re-sealing.

Step 4 | Slice the left side adhesive
