Samsung Galaxy Note10 Loudspeaker Replacement

This device features a daughterboard that houses the loudspeaker. It serves both as a cover and the actual speaker itself, located at the bottom of the phone.

Step 1 | Heat the back panel

Step 1 image

Completely power off your phone.

  • Prepare an iOpener and apply it to the left edge of the back panel for one minute.
  • Alternative: Use a hair dryer, heat gun, or hot plate, but be cautious not to overheat the phone as this can damage the display and internal battery.

Step 2 | Insert an opening pick

Apply a suction cup to the heated edge of the back panel, as close to the edge as possible.

  • If your back glass is badly cracked, cover it with clear packing tape for better adhesion.
  • Pull up on the suction cup with strong, steady force to create a gap between the back panel and the frame.

Depending on your phone's age, this may be difficult. Apply more heat if needed and try again.

  • Insert the point of an opening pick into the created gap.

Step 3 | Begin to slice the adhesive

Risk of damage to internal components if pick is inserted too far.

  • Slide the opening pick along the left edge towards the bottom left corner to slice the adhesive.
  • Only insert the pick halfway or less into the phone, as inserting it further can cause damage.

Leave the pick in place at the bottom left corner to prevent re-sealing of the adhesive.
