For Samsung Galaxy Note10, refer to this guide for instructions on removing or replacing the front-facing camera.

Step 1 | Heat the back panel

Completely power off your phone before disassembling.

  • Apply an iOpener to the left edge of the back panel for one minute.
  • Alternatively, use a hair dryer, heat gun, or hot plate — but be cautious not to overheat and damage the display or internal battery.

Step 2 | Insert an opening pick

Apply a suction cup to the heated edge of the back panel, as close to the edge as possible.

  • If the back glass is badly cracked, cover it with clear packing tape for better adhesion.
  • Pull up on the suction cup with strong, steady force to create a gap between the back panel and frame.

Be prepared for difficulty depending on your phone's age; apply more heat if necessary.

  • Insert an opening pick into the created gap.

Step 3 | Begin to slice the adhesive

Insert an opening pick along the left edge and slide it towards the bottom left corner.

  • Do not insert the opening pick more than halfway into the phone, as this can damage internal components.
  • Leave the pick inserted in the bottom left corner to prevent re-sealing of the adhesive.
