Samsung Galaxy Note Edge Display Assembly Replacement

Follow video instructions carefully to avoid damaging the device.

  • Replace the faulty screen assembly on your Samsung Galaxy Note Edge (N915) with a new one.

Required Tools:

  • Samsung repair tools kit
  • Pry tool
  • Suction cup

Proceed with caution and refer to the video manual for detailed step-by-step instructions.

Step 1 | Remove the Galaxy Note Edge Battery

Switch off the device.

  • Remove the back cover.
  • Disconnect and remove the battery.

Step 2 | Remove the Galaxy Note Edge Rear Housing

Remove the SIM card, Memory card, and S Pen.

  • Use a Screwdriver Phillips #00 to remove the screws.
  • Utilize a plastic opening tool to carefully remove the Back Frame.

Step 3 | Remove the Galaxy Note Edge Motherboard 1

  • Remove the coaxial antenna cables (2).
  • Disconnect the Home Button flex cable.
  • Release the Display Flex cable.
  • Separate the Stylus Sensor flex cable.
  • Detach the Front Camera flex cable.

Step 4 | Remove the Galaxy Note Edge Motherboard 2

Prise open the connector on the rear edge of the board.

  • Gently lift out the logic board.

Step 5 | Test the new spare part

Before installing the new part, test it separately to ensure it works properly.

  • Disconnect the Power button/Loud speaker flex cable.
  • Motherboard installation follows.
  • Verify the display is working correctly after installation.
  • To prevent damage, install the back frame before testing the new part.

Step 6 | Check the Thermal Pads

  • Inspect the thermal pads for quality, if replacing with a non-original part.
  • If needed, transfer the thermal pads from the old assembly to the new one.

Step 7 | Transfer all the parts from the old Display assembly - Part 1

Never touch the capacitor terminals — risk of electric shock.

  • Locate and disconnect the battery connector.
  • Next, remove the circuit board cover to access internal components.
  • Use a screwdriver to carefully loosen any retained screws holding the circuit board in place.

Step 8 | Remove the Galaxy Note Edge Charging Port Flex Assembly.

Locate the black Phillips screw and remove it.

  • Remove the charging port plate.
  • Disconnect both coaxial antenna cables.
  • Be cautious of other cables, disconnect the Home buttons flex cable.
  • Use a plastic opening tool and hot air to remove the Charging Port flex assembly.

Step 9 | Reassembling
