This repair guide will assist you in replacing the volume buttons for a Samsung Galaxy Note 4.
Use a fingernail or plastic opening tool to pry open the battery from its recess at the bottom right.
Push the SIM card gently out of its housing.
Remove the 16 x 4.0 mm Phillips #00 screws securing the midframe to the display assembly.
Insert a plastic opening tool between the midframe and the display assembly.
Be careful not to separate the front glass panel from the rest of the display assembly, as it remains held together with adhesive.
Loosen the clasps on the battery housing with a plastic opening tool.
Apply moderate pressure to the battery housing and gently push to separate the midframe from the display assembly.
Use a tweezers to dislodge the volume buttons from their attachment points on the midframe.
