This is a repair guide for replacing the motherboard in a Samsung Galaxy Note 4.
Insert a plastic spudger into the divot to the left of the rear-facing camera.
Lift the battery by prying it up from its recess using a fingernail or plastic opening tool.
Pull the SIM card out of its housing by first gently pushing it forward.
Insert a plastic opening tool between midframe and display assembly.
Be careful not to separate front glass panel from rest of display assembly.
Use a plastic opening tool to release the clasps securing the battery housing.
Push on battery housing to separate midframe from display assembly.
A reasonable amount of pressure may be required for separation.
Remove the two 2.9 mm Phillips #00 screws.
Remove the tweezers and use them to grasp the two antenna cables.
Disconnect the ribbon cable connectors using a pair of tweezers or the flat end of a spudger.
Remove the motherboard from the phone.
Be careful not to damage any components during removal.
