This repair guide is for replacing the Micro-USB port daughterboard on a Galaxy Note 4.
Remove the back cover using a fingertip or vinyl spudger.
Remove the sixteen 4.0 mm Phillips #00 screws.
Use a low heat setting to carefully remove the sticker along the side edge of the touch panel.
Free the clasps along the battery slot.
Pull the front assembly out from the middle housing with effort.
Cannot access USB board directly due to flex connector attachment on motherboard backplane.
Must remove both motherboard and LCD screen prior to further disassembly.

Disconnect the signal flex cables. Remove the screws that secure the USB board and motherboard.
Disconnect all motherboard connectors.
Locate the motherboard and gently pry it up.
Samsung Galaxy Note 4 USB board replacement is complex and requires caution.
Careful removal of other components, such as the LCD screen and motherboard, is also required prior to replacing the USB board.
