Samsung Galaxy Note 3 - Wipe Data / Factory Reset

Performing a Factory/Hard reset will delete all personal data.

  • Follow this process to restore device to original settings.
  • This procedure is recommended if device freezes, password/PIN/pattern is forgotten, or functionality is impaired.

Turn off device completely.

  • Press and hold Volume Up, Home, and Power keys simultaneously.
  • Release Power key when "GALAXY Note 3" logo appears; continue holding Volume Up and Home keys.
  • Release Volume Up and Home keys when Android System Recovery menu appears.
  • Use Volume Up/Down keys for navigation, select "wipe data / factory reset" with Power key.
  • Select "Yes -- erase all user data" and then "reboot system now".
