Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Midframe Replacement
Disassembling the midframe exposes internal components, so proceed with caution.
- Remove the midframe screws using a T5 Torx driver.
- Gently pry up the midframe from the phone's body.
Step 1 | Remove the rear case
Insert a plastic opening tool into the gap between the rear case and the base of the phone.
Step 2 | Remove Case from the Base
Slide a plastic opening tool along the edge of the rear case.
- Lift the rear case gently from its base.
Step 3 | Battery
Insert a fingernail or plastic opening tool into the small gap between the battery and phone base.
Lift the battery out of its recess using the inserted tool.
Step 4 | S Pen
Locate the stylus pen's grooved end.
- Insert a fingernail into the groove and gently pull the stylus pen outwards.
- The stylus pen should now be removed from the phone.
Step 5 | Unscrew Back Chassis
Remove the 12 x 4mm Phillips #00 screws from the back chassis.
Step 6 | Remove Back Chassis
Insert plastic opening tool into Stylus Pen placement holder.
- Lift plastic opening tool to separate midframe from base.
