Charging issues may indicate a faulty micro USB connector board.
The original micro USB connector board was revision LF-A G 1145, while the replacement is LF-A G 1150 23-3.
Remove the screw at the bottom of the device.
Never force the clip — risk of damage or breakage.
Remove the following components from the main circuit board:
Careful when handling the power button - held in place by glue only; separate it from the case without detaching it from the circuit board.
Remove the main circuit board carefully.
Bend the ribbon cables carefully to avoid damage, especially near the power button and earphone connections.
Remove the micro USB board using a prying tool or fingers, as needed.
Ensure all remaining adhesive is removed from the surface.
Remove the broken USB board.
