Dissatisfied with your Galaxy Nexus's sound quality?
Use a plastic opening tool or your fingertip to carefully pry open the back of the phone.
Move the prying tool or your fingernail away from the phone, keeping it out of the divot.
Insert finger into battery divot and gently pull towards you.
Remove PH # 000 screw located as shown in the picture, using a suitable driver to avoid damage.
Remove all screws.
Remove the screw with a PH #000 screwdriver.
Ensure correct driver size to avoid damage.
Use a flat head screwdriver to gently lift the blue connector.
Use your finger or a prying tool to carefully pull back the bottom module.
Use tweezers or a flat head screwdriver to gently pry the internal battery loose.
Be careful of adhesive on the chassis – it may be holding the battery in place.
Use tweezers to peel the display connector strip from the main circuit board.
Use your fingers or tweezers to carefully remove the antenna.
Be cautious not to damage ribbon cable connectors on the underside of the board, which may be model-specific and attached to sockets.
Use tweezers to carefully pull out the top earpiece.
