Samsung Galaxy Mega 2 Rear Camera Replacement

Ensure phone is powered off.

• Locate the charging port at the bottom of the phone and identify its corresponding slot.
• Insert a plastic opening tool or use your fingernail to release the back cover by pulling up on it.
• Once one corner is released, slide your finger around the outside to release the remaining clips.

• Identify the location of the battery.

• Use a fingernail or plastic opening tool to pry the slot on the bottom of the battery and carefully lift it up.

• Remove the battery.

Remove all PH000 1.4mm screws.

• Use a pry tool to gently lift the Digitizer cover.
• Once open, use a pry tool to disconnect the Digitizer.

Insert a pry tool along the side of the device, working around the borders of the screen.

• Separate the screen from the rear assembling frame.
• Remove the screen completely from the mid-frame.

Handle the screen with care to avoid damage.

• Press down on the top right corner of the mid-frame to release it from the motherboard.
• Use tweezers to pick up the mid-frame and separate it completely from the motherboard.

Remove the rear assembly frame to access the motherboard and connectors.

• Locate the rear facing camera in the top middle of the phone.
• Lift up on the motherboard with tweezers to disconnect it from the mid-frame.
• Flip the motherboard over.
• Use tweezers to disconnect the rear facing camera.
