Samsung Galaxy J6 Display Replacement
Step 1 | Cut the screen adhesive
Wear eye protection to avoid injury from glass fragments.
- Use a hairdryer or similar tool to heat the display sides with double-sided adhesive until it releases its bond.
- Insert the blade between the body and glass, starting at the top edge of the display.
- The flat connection connectors are located at the bottom of the device.
Step 2 | Lift up the display
Remove the display assembly.
Step 3 | Remove the display
Unplug the black plastic plug from the display connector.
- Release the display connector by unhooking it.
- Remove the old display and replace it with the new one.
- Apply adhesive to secure the new display in place.
