Samsung Galaxy J3V Power Button Replacement
Replacing the power button on your Samsung Galaxy J3V requires careful disassembly and replacement with a new part.
Step 1 | Power Button
Locate the top left corner of the device and press the tab with your thumb to release it.
- Pry the tab open using a gentle pressing motion.
- Lift the back cover off the device.
Step 2
Remove 10 x 2.0 mm screws using a Phillips #J000 screwdriver.
Step 3
Use a small suction cup to pull the screen up.
- Slip a small plastic opening tool under the screen to pry it upwards.
Adhesive seal may require multiple tries and force to remove the entire screen, especially if this is the first time the screen is being removed.
Step 4
Locate the power button on the back frame of the phone.
Step 5
Remove the power button's rubber tabs from their clips using tweezers.
- Gently pull out the entire power button
